Epiphany
Duality Series #19
Take a peek through the looking glass and experience poetry from both sides of the veil in my “Duality” series where I collaborate with different poets to cover contrasting yet interlinked themes in our individual styles.
Today’s theme is:
“Epiphany”
A singular perspective with opposite realities.
1.) The epiphany of suddenly realising everything that could go wrong has gone wrong. The Forgotten Muse
2.) The epiphany of suddenly realising everything has fallen perfectly into place. Marie Charon
Enjoy!
Epiphany- The Forgotten Muse

I thought I was performing on a single stage for the first time. And that my focus was narrowed down with precision. Fool me! Nothing ever changes. Everything that was true is true. And everything that was a lie, is a lie. My reincarnations haunt me. Ever changing, yet somehow the same in every lifetime. Everything is perfection. Life is beautiful. Life…is beautiful? Where then is my morning sun? The end of this tunnel is a maze, interconnected and intertwined, with no end in sight. Who begets this masterpiece?

It came quietly, not like thunder but like light slipping through a crack I hadn’t noticed before. All the scattered pieces— every misstep, every ache, every unanswered question—suddenly aligned, as if they had been conspiring in secret all along. I felt it in my chest first, a soft unlocking, a widening. Nothing new had arrived, and yet everything was different. The past softened into purpose. The future stopped demanding answers. And there, in the stillness between breaths, I understood: nothing had been wasted. It had all been leading me here, to this exact, ordinary miracle of things finally making sense.
